Create a page
A page is created by duplicating an existing page and selecting a language. You can then rename and modify it as you like.
Until it is published, a page is a draft.
Creating an element by dragging and dropping
A new element is created and positioned by dragging and dropping the chosen type from the elements sidebar that appears on the left with a mouseover.
The number of elements that can be inserted into a page is unlimited.
Any element can be moved anywhere in the page by drag'n drop.
Encapsulate in a block
Any element may be encapsulated in a block.
A block contains any number of elements, including other blocks.
It is a full element on which we operate in a single operation.
A block can be stretched or dropped-down under certain conditions.
Edit styles
This feature is used to control the appearance of any element; it allows you to modify fonts, alignment, borders, margins, colors, shadows and CSS code.
Responsive web design setting
Websites created with WEBSICO are naturally adapted to all screens (Responsive web design, Mobile friendly).
Screen page adaptation occurs automatically according to width while leaving the webmaster the choice of setting or even disengaging the automation to display a particular item according to width and importance.
Including own code and importing external services
HTML CSS/JavaScript can be introduced into a raw text element.
The raw text element also hosts the code provided by external services.
Copy/Paste
Any element of any page can be copied/pasted into any website page from the element interface and the elements sidebar or shortcut keys.
Create a model
Any block can be stored in the library models to be reused elsewhere in the site.
Any change in appearance or content provided to this model is reflected automatically to all elements built with this model.
A model can contain blocks defined as "free area", i.e., as having a content independent from the model.
Import modifiable predefined blocks
Need a carousel, a header, a footer, a title-image-text block, form, etc.? Import it from the elements bar and drop it to the desired location and adapt it.
On-demand backups on the user's computer
The user can upload all website data with WEBSiCO; this backup can be used for another site or to restore the current site by uploading it to the server.
The format of this backup is specific to WEBSICO, and can only be used for websites under its control.
Reusing previous creations
From the administration page, under “backups”, the user can upload to his computer all website data created with WEBSiCO; this backup can be used to transfer all data to another WEBSiCO website by uploading it to the server.
The backup format is specific to WEBSICO and can only be used for websites under its control.
Documentation
Never lost with the accessible documentation on each interface without leaving the current page.
Menus and page path
Configurable menus and page paths are built automatically from the sitemap.
Forms with customizable input fields
The form builder enables the creation of a wide variety of forms: mailing list subscriptions, contact forms, subscription forms, event registrations, online order forms, etc. It can be used to send data by email or for external processing.
Selective publication
When publishing a page, one can selectively publish elements related to the page: models, styles, the site map.
Once published, the page is visible to all.
Flux RSS
An RSS feed can be produced by any page of a Websico website, without any special intervention on the pages of the site. It is enough to access the page by its url to which one adds an argument (?output = rss).
By combining the use of the rss reader with this capacity, one can therefore include in a page a list of news from its own site.
Images optimization
An image (JPG, GIF, PNG) can be uploaded without worrying about its final size.
In standard mode the image is recomputed to optimize the weight for the maximum size to be displayed.
The image size naturally fits all screen widths, including background images (Responsive web design).
Gallery - Slideshow
Images can be saved in gallery mode to enable the visitor to see them enlarged; all images on the page with gallery mode selected are accessible enlarged in slideshow mode.
Multilingual
Websites built with WEBSICO support all encodable languages in Unicode UTF8: for example, WEBSICO accepts French as well as Russian or Japanese.
However, WEBSICO does not include automatic translation software.
Downloading
The downloading component allows you to offer visitors a link to documents of various types (pdf, images, Word, Excel etc....) that you file on the server.
Customizable URL Page
The URL page can be customized by filling in a simple input field.
A page can be redirected to any URL with a simple information in an input field.
Domain name attachment
After the 7-days trial period, mywebsite.com domain type names can be easily attached or detached from the website.
Updating with a simple click
Generally there is no automatic software update, which can be done easily by clicking the button under "program update" in the administration page.
Automatic and on-demand hosted backups
An automatic backup is performed every 24 hours if the site has been changed.
A backup of the site can also be made upon request at any time so as to return to a previous state if necessary.
